About Firewheel Golf Park
What started as deserted farmland with native firewheels in 1981 has grown into the largest complex of golf courses in Texas and third biggest in the United States. The Old Course opened in 1983, followed by the Lakes Course in 1987, and The Bridges Course was added to create this 63-hole championship facility.
We're here to give every golfer — from beginners hitting their first bucket of balls to seasoned players ready for championship-level challenges — an unforgettable day on the course. Our three distinct courses and welcoming facilities create the perfect setting for families and golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the game together.

You've got tasty options at both locations! Visit the Branding Iron Grill at our Bridges location for casual breakfast and lunch. At our Old/Lakes location, Grill 64 is ready to serve your family. Both spots are perfect for celebrating a great day on the course.
Can we book events or parties at Firewheel?
Absolutely! The Jerry Andrews Pavilion can host up to 400 guests with stunning Lakes Course views - perfect for big celebrations. For smaller family gatherings, the Branding Iron Dining Room accommodates up to 75 people with a beautiful patio overlooking the course.
Do you offer golf lessons for beginners?
Yes! Our PGA professionals Don Kennedy and Corey Perrotta teach golfers of every skill level. Juniors pay just $70 for an hour lesson, while adults pay $85. We also have Kevin Bieller's School of Golf for additional instruction options.
Are there practice facilities available?
You bet! We have a grass driving range and short game practice areas to help you warm up before your round or work on your skills. It's a great way for the whole family to improve together.
What are the two course locations?
Our Bridges Course is located at 1535 E Brand Road, and our Old/Lakes courses are at 600 W Campbell Road, both in Garland. Each location has its own clubhouse, dining, and easy parking for your visit.
Can we join any golf leagues or associations?
Yes! We have something for everyone - the Firewheel Golf Association welcomes all players, the Women's Golf Association meets Thursday mornings, and the Senior Golf Association is for members 60 and over. It's a great way to meet other golf-loving families.
